Basic Characteristics: The Professor was not always seen as another incarnation of Banner's splintered psyche and at first was believed to be Bruce's mind and the Hulk's body. This is somewhat true in that the Professor has the intelligence and memories of Banner but he also shares some of the immense attitude of Joe Fixit and the aggression of the Savage Hulk. The Professor for a large part was Doc Samson's attempt to psychologically rid Banner of the Hulk. The Professor shares guardianship of Banner's psyche with the other two incarnation and is Banner's preferred incarnation.
